Hi There,

Thanks for visiting. Whew, lots of changes. I have left Whidbey Island and moved to Colorado Springs where I share a duplex with my darling daughter. It was a big move for me and I've been painting and organizing. My workroom is finally set up, yippee, and I'm working away on new projects. My website email is a little goofy right now and I'm looking for a web person here to fix it so please use jillmccloy@gmail.com to contact me.

The move took a lot of time and energy and completely disrupted my teaching schedule, so now I'll start rebuilding. I'll be on the fall calendar of Ruth's Stitchery right here in Colorado Springs, so that is a start. And, I'm scheduled for Kona again in January and at "The Landings" in Sarasota, FL in early March and am working on scheduling more events. Please, wish me luck on my new ventures.

Despite the move and everything else, I've gotten three new patterns completed, one is "The Quilted Lady", a white on white, whole cloth, hand quilted wall hanging. The piece itself was done years ago, but my daughter suggested that I make it a pattern and it sold well at the quilt show up in Loveland, so it was a good idea. Also completed is "Meadowlark Dawn" a wall hanging featuring the rocky mountains and a dimensional bitterroot flower as well as a realistic meadowlark. And, one of my favorites, "Hollyhocks in Grandmother's Garden" dimensional hollyhocks created with machine or hand made yo-yos, very cheerful as you can see. Today is Sept. 15th and I'm working on getting them up within the next few days. I've two more that are almost completed, just need to do the photography on "Asian Fantasy" and finish the illustrations on the Roses and Lace fan. And, I'm updating and adding to my doll patterns which will be up in mid-October. So, there is a lot happening here in Colorado where we've just had our first snowfall of the season on Pike's Peak.
